Iowa Football Recruiting

I think we both know which class we would choose if forced to between the current Iowa and ISU '21 classes.

And it would be a pretty easy choice.

Do you think of dumb **** to say or does it come natural?

This is what @Rebel really meant to say. Nice try though Benj! ;)

It takes a sad individual to change someone’s post and try to pass it off as the original. You do lead a sad life it appears. Buck up, your mom loved your participation ribbons. She loves you for who you are I’m sure. Now go upstairs and have lunch that she prepared for you.

Yes, because recruiting class rankings are an excellent prediction of program success.

ummm, they are an excellent prediction of program success... It's not a perfect measurement and there are obviously outliers but if you look at the top 10 in recruiting rankings and the top 10 in playoff rankings you're going to see a lot of the same names. This is not a coincidence.

The farther down the rankings you go though, the less "accurate" they tend to be IMO. Once you get into the 25-50 range there's lots of examples where the classes ranked in the late thirties or early 40's end up being better than classes ranked 25-30. Which makes sense because these recruits depend on programs to develop them and so the better schools that do that have an advantage.

I really don't think individuals that are willing to accept and want to be a part of the environment in Iowa City would be a good fit in Ames.

Campbell disagrees considering he offered 11 of the 16 current Iowa commits.
