I hope the Iowa players won't come after the ISU fans like in Hilton and dive at them!! Disgusting when players go after fans.
I agree, but to an extent it matters in what manner we lose by 12-15 points. For example, last years debacle was 16 points, but the final score was much less indicative of what had truly transpired. And I'm not sure there is ever a moral victory to be had in these games, but if say we can force Iowa to have to keep us just at arms length the whole game, only to pull away and win by 12-15, that would make for some warm fuzzies moving into the holiday season. Not looking forward to the beating we are going to take. I wish we could have had a couple more games under our belts (even though I don't think it would make a difference in getting a victory). I want to win - hate losing to the hoks in anything - but a loss of less than 12-15 points would give me encouragement that they are, at least, getting better as a team.
It should be a good game. Garza will fade in the 2nd half like he always does. Nobody wanted Fredrick; not sure why he's on a Div. I roster. Weiskamp has regressed. The McCaffrey boys are terrible basketball players. Bohannon is slow and a defensive liability. Toussaint can't shoot and plays out of control. Most of all Fran can't coach. To be honest, I don't see how ISU could lose this game.
Honestly, anyone that ever says this doesn’t understand how much of a hole Fran had to dig out of. Alford and Lickliter ruined Iowa Basketball.Almost nailed everything, but you forgot that Fran can't recruit or develop talent.

What is wrong with this statement? Literally everything is factual.
Aren't Fran's results basically the same as Alford's?Honestly, anyone that ever says this doesn’t understand how much of a hole Fran had to dig out of. Alford and Lickliter ruined Iowa Basketball.
Alfords winning percentage was .477 at Iowa. Fran’s is .583. Plus, look at who Alford took over for compared to who Fran took over for.Aren't Fran's results basically the same as Alford's?
