I don't think they deserve their ranking. I think they are a top 20 team, not a top 5 team. That isn't Fran's fault.

Cook signed a training camp agreement. That is the UDFA of basketball, he is not in the NBA currently.

If both teams play all their scheduled games, my guess is below for each teams record going into the conference tournaments:

Iowa 21-6 (15-5)

ISU 8-17 (4-14)

I got Iowa at 19-8 (13-7)

I’m right in between at 20-7 (14-6)

Big10 this year reminds me of ‘87, just completely loaded. I could envision as many as 4 different teams capable of making an Elite 8.

ISU fans always have much higher expectations for Iowa sports than they do ISU's sports.

That team was a 4 seed and made the Sweet 16. It's not like they were a preseason top 3 team
