Iowa is going to be salty. They are a veteran team with a hot head coach. I think if they don't finish in the top 20 this season then Fran didn't do his job.

I think their exhibition season ended right after the game Saturday. Don't know yet if their next game is for real or not.
Iowa definitely needs to do two things:
Play better defense
Keep the rotation smaller
I don’t think even Iowa fans can trust those will happen. They should be a good team, I’d say 5 seed if March Madness happens is worst case. They have a lot of veterans.

Lots of expectations this year for Iowa. Something they are not used to at all. I'm curious how they will handle it.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's a Big 10 championship and a final 4 or bust for this Iowa team. We are told they are world beaters and given their preseason ranking, that is the expectation
Also, maybe a fun game if you will, does Iowa have one future NBA player on it's roster? I still don't think Garza will get drafted after this year, IMO.
He wasn't getting drafted this year and I don't see him doing anything to change that for next year.
He needs to work on defensive footwork. He's obviously a great college player but would get eaten alive by Joker, Embiid, KAT, Porzingis, AD, Gobert.
Even Dwight Howard showed me a lot during the bubble. If he had to switch onto an athletic PF like Luka, Giannis, Sabonis, Millsap, Siakam, they would work Garza over.
Draymond would frustrate the **** out of him.
Better question is do he and bonerhannon come back next year?
Boner does, you know he is peaking right now in life. He is as high as he will get so he is stretching it out.
Maybe he will come back next year along with Bohannon. Bohannon could go 5-1 against the Clones.
