Awwwww...... poor Kirk. He's trying to concentrate on the now and the future and doesn't want to be bothered with this right now.... poor guy. He thought he had taken care of this issue by creating a committee, but never actually apologizing for anything.

I sure feel for him.

Regardless of what you think of Kirk Ferentz or if you feel this is just a cash grab by the former players, the fact remains that the story will likely linger as long as Kirk Ferentz is head coach. It will take more than a couple Outback Bowl wins to erase this.

It might have been better if he had apologized for it right off the bat.... but instead he's allowed this to drag on and has yet to apologize for anything. He didn't even think Doyle did anything wrong... and certainly would never admit his son did anything wrong.

KF is coming across as a rich arrogant guy who is above the law. He hasn't handled it well.

When was the last time iowa has handled a pr issue correctly? I hear all about "the Iowa way" and that's the only thing I think of when I hear that.

Kirk better hope they don't have a disappointing season this year because all the off field turmoil right now is just going to get louder. One thing I think is for sure is that I doubt there is any way Brian Ferentz is the next head coach after Kirk is gone. Just don't see how after all that has happened now especially with his name mentioned with some of the allegations why you wouldn't use the chance to reset the culture of the program once Kirk retires or is forced out. These stories have gained a lot of negative national attention and it certainly is going to affect recruiting you would think.
