All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

How many times has Iowa played Penn St and Michigan in the last 10 seasons? Those teams have been better than anybody not named Oklahoma on your schedule.
Since 2010 (11 seasons), Iowa has or will have played Penn State 7 times, Michigan 5 times, and Ohio State 3 times.

In 6 of the 11 seasons, Iowa's played 2 of the 3.

In 3 of the 11 seasons, Iowa's played 1 of the 3.

In 2 of the 11 seasons (2014 and 2015), Iowa played 0 of the 3.

Ohio State 3 out of 11 years. Lol how is that even possible?

And only 2 out of the last 10 now that Covid gifted Iowa an easier schedule

Iowa has really been hurt by Covid a lot more than ISU has.

Iowa was by far the favorite to bring home another wrestling championship.

Iowa was going to the NCAA basketball tournament and ISU already played their last game.

The Big 10 was stupid and decided to cancel the fall sports season to only then backtrack and decide to start over a month later than everyone else.

ISU got to skip Iowa in the no-conference for a sixth straight loss in the series.

Since 2010, Iowa has played 28 ranked Big 10 opponents, 11 of those being ranked in the top-10.

Since 2010, Iowa State has played 37 ranked Big 12 opponents, 14 of those being ranked in the top-10.

Not a look good for those who think Iowa has to play a tougher conference schedule.

Part of me wonders if Paul Rhoads would still be our coach if we were in the Big Ten West

How convenient they missed out on playing those teams during their "dream season"

Congrats on the strength of schedule victory. Maybe CMK can get a trophy made for that so Iowa State can finally have something to put in its trophy case.
