The myth I've always heard is the loudest Kinnick has ever been was when Adam Shada got booed on Senior Day
It was louder than when you guys booed Kyle McCann to put it into perspective
I wasn’t at the Kyle McCann game either. I didn’t go to many late season games as a kid.
Were you at the Penn State game when they booed the team off the field at halftime while Iowa commit Melvin Gordon was in attendance?
2010? We literally won that game in Shutout fashion and no one was unhappy or booing.
I guarantee you that neither of those games had anything to do with Melvin's recruitment.
Don’t remember that. To be fair, The Big House isn’t that tough. I’ve been and it’s not that loud of a stadium. Nebby, tOSU, PSU, and Wisky are much louder and tougher then the Big House. Plus, basically all the Mich fans outside of the student section are pre B.C. era.

I know he mentioned double decked stadiums (Jim Walden said this also) were louder because fans are closer to the action and the top deck helps to funnel the noise to the field.
That’s why some smaller stadiums can be louder then larger ones. Ex. Autzen stadium only seats like 45-50,000 but it’s loud as hell.
Fixed it. And Kinnick has had an older crowd the last 5-10 years but I’m beginning to see more people in my age bracket, maybe a little bit older, start buying season tickets and I’m seeing a more younger crowd begin to show up.
So Iowa fans booed the team on two separate occasions and Adam Shada when he got announced on Senior Day? Holy ****
