Iowa Football Recruiting

Dejean is really really good. Don’t know how you leave Colby, Oladakun, and Stephens off this list.

Honestly, all we know about Cooper at this point is that he's a really good athlete. OABCIG was 2A last year but dropped to 1A this year so take his stats with a grain of salt. He's a really good kid and I wish him the best of luck but I feel like Iowa fans may want to lower the bar just a tad because nobody knows how his play will translate.

Yeah, I meant it after he "moved."
Crazy how that all works out.
I guess I don't follow. They were not going to play, so he "moved" up here. Got ruled ineligible. Found out old school would start up football again, but he'd still have to sit because he would have had to be enrolled previously. Only shot now is playing at Ankeny.

I see both sides. Not really passionate about it one way or the other. Just think the IHSAA is acting like an 8 year old with some of this stuff.

What a burn. You do this as a profession?
Better go check your propane tank for the mobile home so you and the mrs don’t get cold this weekend. Still saving for that big move up to a double wide or is fixing your teeth more a priority at this point?
Says the guy closing in on 100 posts in the first 5 days on CF....I am just assuming this is only your first account here, right?

Didn't you respond to that same post like 3 hours ago?

Idk how you say Goodson isn’t good. Without even starting until Minnesota, putting up over 600 rushing yards, averaging almost 5 yards per carry, and playing with a bad O-line like you said. That is a stud right there.
I'm not going to go into the standard deviation analysis of each run because HOK ain't too smart.
FACTS:
He ran behind a very good offensive line, including an All Timer in Tristan Wirfs. Wirfs may be a top 5 OL from HOK.
Goodson couldn't break the 12s barrier in his sophomore year of track. He quit tack after his sophomore year. That is JV track slow.
If you take out his longest run of the day for most games, his ypc is pretty low.

I don't see an NFLer. Not even close.

Not starting until the Minnesota game does that. This year he will be on the all conference team. I’ll bet he is 1200+ yard rusher this year.
No wonder it took him so long to start being behind the great Mekhi Sargent. Lol get outta here

Oh my.

Doubt he gets 900 yards playing an 9 game season of which 8 are going to be Big 10 games. Based on KF's history he likes 2 backs. I would think Goodson will split carries with a bigger back.
