Iowa Football Recruiting

You just gotta hope that isn't the real team, that they just laid an egg to start the season. I mean it is only 1 game, sure it was a turd, but nearly every team lays a turd each year, and many teams more than once actually.
Hoping so. Guess we will find out in a couple weeks.

I will believe Big Ten is playing football when they actually step on the field. They really got exposed in this whole debacle as irrelevant in college football
This is the biggest takeaway. The Big Ten clearly thought that it had massive clout within the college football realm. Turns out, they just have an inflated ego and were only able to get the weird kid (PAC12) to participate in their sit-out. Now, they're desperately trying to rejoin the cool kids club.

You would have a point if there had been smooth sailing by all leagues and schools that started the season relatively on time. That simply isn’t the case. Several games have been cancelled and those that did go forward many modified how they were moving forward including isu (fans, no fans). I think the rapid daily testing is new and was enough to get the P&C’s to get comfortable to move forward.

I am still not convinced any league will start and finish the season without interruption.

If anyone ever thought things were going to go smoothly, then they were not very intelligent.

So by making this point you are saying you agree that the Big 10 did the exact opposite of the right moves here. As it stands they are mashing in basically the minimum amount of games with 0 schedule flexibility due to time constraints.

My thought was there was a lot of unknown when the Big Ten pulled the plug to play. They could have waited but not sure any teams would have been playing last weekend anyway. The rapid testing is what changed the game. The Big Ten can now say with 100% certainty that when their games start there will be no. Team to team spread. Can any conference or school make the same claim right now?

Are they testing players as the run out onto the field?

Iowa's TE woes continue. They are going hard after a kid that just decommitted from Miami of Ohio. No P5 offers

You're criticizing Iowa's recruiting efforts this year?! Oh boy, this will not turn out well for you,...but I guess what really has lately. LOL!!!
