I'm all for positivity, but there's no way you can objectively look at this recruiting class and be too fired up. There may be some diamond in the rough types, but by all objective measures it's not good.

I can’t believe more ISU fans are ticked off with how bad this class is.

I'm far from a talent evaluator, but I do know that looking at a weak offer list but hearing "he's got a great frame he can develop into" sounds eerily familiar.

Yeah it is ok to get some of those development guys later. You never want a whole class pretty much being made up of these guys.

Maybe it is because they realize this wasn’t a normal camp/evaluation year and the ratings are fall less important. Excuse me if nobody takes your recruiting takes seriously considering you mocked our QB commit, then he got flipped by a blue blood.

It is like Iowa with Padilla, I wasn’t excited about him until he got the Georgia offer, then my opinion changed. Happens all the time in recruiting we as fans don’t know everything going on. If ISU could have held onto Wright after the offer, my opinion of him changed as well. Too bad CMC couldn’t hold onto him, he looks like a good one.

You are right that your first opinions are usually wrong. You don’t let being wrong keep you from consistently spouting them though, I tip my cap.

Or maybe this has been brought on by those that thought (outloud) that this was the greatest Clone team ever assembled and was lead by the greatest coach in CFB. Only to find out that they would be battling for position as the 3rd or 4th best team in the Sun Belt conf rather than the BIG 12. That being said. Matt (Mr October) Campbell will no doubt be able to rally the team to win at least a couple meaningful games in October.

Hell of a reach. It was a typical bad September performance and loss to a pretty solid Louisiana team.

and was lead by the greatest coach in CFB. Nobody has said Campbell is the greatest coach in CFB. He has rcvd lots of accolades from experts.
