Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

You lasted one whole post I see.
I'm a big Hawkeye hockey fan. Bump:
From the Cyclones Facebook page:

Just a reminder to all Cyclone Hockey fans, the game against Iowa originally scheduled for today at noon at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines has been, unfortunately, canceled after Iowa's players voted not to play the game despite all the efforts of the Iowa Wild to put the game together. We do still encourage all Cyclone Hockey fans check head down to Des Moines to watch the Wild take on the Grand Rapids Griffins at 4:00 p.m.

Maybe a game someday against Oklahoma, an ACHA D1 powerhouse that is also a Big 12 school, is the answer for a game at Wells Fargo someday to showcase Cyclone Hockey and ACHA D1 hockey...

Great news today.

This is absolutely fantastic. The delusion of Hawkeye fans is unreal. Y’all win one time in 17 years in Hilton and think your program is the dominate one lol

That guy is the epitome of Hawkeye douche. Take a scroll through his timeline. RENT FREE.

Iowa fans are bragging about a player of theirs that's not going into the NBA Draft early because he knows he won't get drafted.... meanwhile ISU has how many players in the NBA right now that played for Prohm?

That's his announcement post? That's horrible.

He obviously doesn't know what an apostrophe or a period is yet. Must learn that in your senior year at Iowa maybe?

And talk about arrogant. "Where the love?". Really? You want people to praise you for this decision?? Barf.

Can you be more bitter over this?

Maybe he will but I don't think Garza will be able to duplicate the season he had last year, stat wise. I think he will be both lower in points (23.9) and rebounds (9.8). Team may have slightly more success, if they even play.

His PPG may stay about the same but I bet he's more efficient. The B1G is losing some really talented big guys, especially on the defensive end.

Oturu
Smith
Teske
Watkins
Tillman

Iowa ‘s non conference schedule is laughable give the team they return..laughable. Fran and AD knew this team would be his most talented up to 2 years ago and they did nothing to challenge them in the non conference outside of ISU.

College basketball ad a whole is far less talented than just a few years ago due to G league development and too much talent going pro.

This year will be even worse.

A lot of college b-ball this year depends upon if There’s a college football season honestly.. If fball gets cancelled there’s no way b-ball is happening. Remember then NCAA has oversight of college b-ball not so much fball.

The ACC (likely home) challenge game and Gavitt Games (likely road) opponents still need to be announced.

Those 2 plus Oregon State and ISU and a 20 game conference schedule in the best conference in the country is a great schedule.

It's not Iowa's fault that Prohm has sunk the ISU program and it's no longer a good win for the Hawkeyes.

When ISU fans have nothing to come back with they either have to wear out the "Funny" rating or bring the race issues from Iowa football into this conversation.

Sad look for a supposed basketball school.

I'm glad they are talking so big. Puts a target squarely on them. This team gonna run their mouth more than Marty Tirrell on a 4 pm radio show.

From an 8-9 seed to the best team in the country by bringing in nobody noteworthy. Incredible really
