All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

" Linderbaum is, quite easily, the most athletic interior offensive lineman in the country." Wow. That's a heap of praise. No Kolar on the list?

I would be surprised if Linderbaum goes pro this year. You never see 2 centers go in round 1 and Creed Humphrey has the number 1 spot locked up. Should be the top center in 2021 though.

Centers always seem a little undervalued in the NFL draft. I remember when the Cowboys took Travis Frederick late in the first round and a lot of the so called experts called it a big reach. Turned out to be a pretty great pick for them.

More to do with analytic positional value. Interior lineman, run stuffing DT, and RB just don’t have the draw in today’s game, you see maybe 5 of those 3 positions combined go in round 1.

Just that early projections are credible and should be used as a measuring stick vs. where a player actually gets drafted to determine how far they've regressed, failed to develop, underperformed, etc.
Stop listening to your Hawkeye brethren on here who talked about Stanley being a first rounder. Cyclone fans know they mean very little at this point.

276 yards on 70% completions isn’t hurting him. But the 1 TD is below average I guess. But that was against a better Iowa defense than this years will be.
Could you imagine Purdy against their defense this year? He would absolutely shred them. He'd have that stadium as quite as it's going to be now that there is a pandemic and limited fans
