Iowa Football Recruiting

Fabricated? So you're saying Iowa doesn't have impressive young talent at TE?

Texas definitely has a few studs. But their main guy is older, and they don't put near the emphasis on blocking as we do. That's my point.

Potential talent I would say. We don't know for certain yet.

I guess if ISU can't beat Iowa out for any recruits, you've got Texas that can. Congrats?

The 'best S&C coach in the country' fired, the 'classy' head football coach exposed, the heir apparent no longer in play, and all you got on an Iowa State board is- "but our next recruiting class is great and better than yours!"
Classic hok fan.

Doyle was not fired.

Nah, I've posted much dumber things.

Even though Iowa's known as Tight End U, it's understandable that stud TE recruits still would shy away in favor of a place where they can be the starter from day one. The depth of elite young talent combined with the fact that our TEs must be able to block at a high level makes it pretty clear that no matter how many stars you have, you're most likely not playing much, if at all, as a freshman. Just ask CJF. So I don't blame them at all for opting for a blue-blood where they can get onto the field earlier.
It’s not, Miami is.

Doubling down I see, not a great hill to die on. All this “young elite talent” didn’t score a single touchdown. You have paper talent at this point, not proven. And any stud at any position isn’t gonna be afraid of competition, otherwise why is Ohio state, Oklahoma, LSU, Alabama, Florida, etc consistently getting 5 star recruits?

Back to Iowa recruiting:

Any chance of getting a money line on their next committ/decomitt. I'd say it's close to even money.
