I agree. It won't happen every year but it did for the 21 class. That compositely changes thing and will never happen.

That's right. I couldn't remember which way we didn't offer. Thanks for the correctionISU wanted Llewellyn at TE, not DE
Of course Triangle disagreed. I'd love to hear whyIt's crazy that we were still on Brody's final two consider how badly he wanted to play baseball and grew up a huge hawk fan. The one that hurts the worst in my opinion was Llewellyn. Dude grew up a hawk fan and came down to us and Iowa but we didn't offer at TE, only DE. He wanted to be a cyclone so bad given all that. Can't believe CMC didn't offer at TE as well
if that's the case why do most of them have P5 offers from out of state? 21 class is deep and has a lot of talent. That should a good thing for Iowa schools. That's the only point I'm trying to make. If Iowa regularly had classes like this I think we would see an uptick in recruiting at all schools. You are putting way too much stock in a low er level recruit than can be pulled from any state.
Thats all projected talent. You don't know if it matters until 2-3 years from now.How much it matters fluctuates each year. In a year like '21 it matters more because of how much talent there is in the state.

Then most logical people would have responded with thatBecause you were wrong about what position ISU was offering Llewellyn at.
Isn't that true about all recruiting?
With how recruiting for the 2021 class has gone for both programs, why would this have the ISU coaches excited?
The hits keep on coming for ISU in this recruiting class.
Campbell is taking pages straight form the Fran recruiting notebook.

Interesting that that is your take now, but in relation to ISU's recruiting class it isnt.....
The 21 class IS deep and has a lot of talent. And ISU has 3 players committed and a strong shot at a 4th. Sure, they would have liked to have gotten more, but they also aren't going to fold the program just because a few guys went to iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin. Every school has a prospect list and who knows where the Iowa kids ranked on ISU's list.
I don't think that you can say how deep and talented the 21 class is, yet still discount the guys that are going to ISU just because iowa didn't offer. They are not the be-all end-all of talent evaluation. For as deep of a class as it is, the guys going to ISU would easily be in the top 10 in-state most years.
I'm not discounting any of the players. Neither school could take or offer them all. Some of it is about need as well. Iowa may well regret not offering Moore when they had the chance to get him. Maro might be a stud too but you can only take so many O-lineman.The 21 class IS deep and has a lot of talent. And ISU has 3 players committed and a strong shot at a 4th. MaroWho is the 4th IA prospect that ISU has a strong shot with?
The 3 instate prospects that have committed to ISU in the '21 class have 5 P5 offers. 3 of those 5 are ISU and the others are Louisville and ASU.
It's not just the Iowa staff that is choosing not to offer the Iowa kids that committed to ISU.
There are not 20 D1 level players in the 21 class.I agree. It won't happen every year but it did for the 21 class.
