And they have had racism issues of their own.
Nothing like Iowa's obviously

As CyTwins mentioned..... why would it matter who the DC is for Parks? He would never speak to that coach even.
Now.... having a racist head coach and OC, and understanding that neither will ever be gone or even reprimanded because one of them runs the entire University and the other is his son.... that would make you really think twice about going to that place.
You're saying it's ok to have a guy that used the N word on staff?
Also, since it happened under the current Utah HC shouldn't Wittingham have known about it? And since he didn't punish him until it was made public wouldn't Wittingham in turn be a racist also? Isn't that how all this works?
I think it is a perfectly human response to find some joy when bad things happen to bad people. Brian, Kirk, and Seth Wallace are bad people.
Parker hasn't been accused of using the N word, it's been proven that the Utah DC has while on staff there and he only got put on paid leave and is keeping his job.
Wouldn't Morgan Scalley and Kyle Wittingham be as well?
So at Utah, if a coach is being racist they get reprimanded for it. At Iowa, it goes on for almost 20 years, and nothing is done about it until it becomes public. And even then, they just throw the S&C coach under the bus and nobody else that was also being racist.
The "well the program he chose might be as racist as our program" angle when losing out on a recruit is a terrible look IMO
Not as bad as pretending to be concerned about student athletes and racial issues.
He was picking between 2 programs that have been in the news the last month for race issues and chose the one that has a member of the coaching staff that has allegedly used the N word multiple times while on staff and you all are rejoicing over that.

Maybe they are. It isn’t as clear in their case.

So suspending a guy with pay who admitted to using the N word means you may not be a racist but firing a guy who is being accused of making a lot of racially insensitive comments over 21 years means you are racist?

Utah is not the program you think it is. I mean this is a team that got blown by Texas of all teams. And they have had racism issues of their own.
Did any players from Utah come out and say Wittingham was racist like they did about Ferentz?
I clearly stated that I didn’t know about the Utah guys. But the idea that you are trying to draw an parallel between one incident and harboring a racist and letting him go unchecked for two decades just tells you how badly you are grasping at straws.
What current or former players have said Kirk Ferentz is a racist?
I didn’t know any about this so I looked this up. There are a few differences. The coaches took responsibility and is reported that he apologized immediately after sending the text when he recognized what he did. The Iowa coaches made the players apologize and have never apologized themselves. On top of that, they either say it never happened or they had no clue they were racist the whole time.

Isn't it like 6 of them by now? Joly, Wadley, players rep group guys, etc
