Yeah Coach Campbell wanted those decisions to be made by the team. If the decision was to go out during the anthem to protest, I'm sure Coach would've allowed that.I would assume the decision was made by the team
Looks like your post could come back to bite you according to the America Needs Equality update...
6/16/2020 - HUSCH BLACKWELL - LAW FIRM
That firm is so white that one needs to apply SPF 50 or higher just to enter the building.
- The new law firm hired to investigate the Iowa Athletic Program, Husch Blackwell, is one of the midwest's least racially diverse law firms according to the renowned Vault Survey.
- In the 2018 survey, Husch Blackwell had 166 white Equity Partners and only 1 black Equity Partner.
- They had 209 white Associates to only 13 black Associates.
- Out of 27 Summer Associates, only 2 were black.
- The hiring committee consists of 70 whites and 3 blacks.
- There are at least 10 U of I grads in the KC office (7 are partners, all are white).
- Iowa has announced they will be paying up to $675 per hours, so a rush job is expected.
- Considering Gary Barta admitted the University failed to sufficiently act from the 2019 negative discrimination report, and they've hired one of the whitest firms in the midwest, nobody should expect much to result from their "findings".

Nah he didn't log off. He rated my post funny in which I stated Brian has not been punished at Iowa and their culture is bad. Apparently he disagrees and thinks the culture is good?My sources are saying he logged out and is watching puppy pals
Brodie, the report likely has not even started, so we don't know if it's good. We're just pointing out the irony in that Iowa hired a predominantly white law firm to take a look at a program involved with having a systematic racist culture.LOL, so now the report is no good because the firm has a lot of white lawyers?

I'm not dumb enough to think that Iowa's program is the only one out there like this, and I'm sure others on here know that as well. But using whataboutisms, deflecting, denying, blaming others, etc, is not exactly the right way to acknowledge that your program is bad.Iowa has the worst culture in CFB right now and it's not even close. On top of the culture problem they just lost their prized asset in Doyle. Rough

I rated your post funny because you said that Brian Ferentz should have AT LEAST been reprimanded a couple times. For what, using naughty language? I mean, can you imagine a football coach cursing? The horror!!!

I don't know if I want to comment on his spelling of the word kneel, the fact that he described his family to singularly be one Hawkeye fan, or that he believes Iowa State and how Matt Campbell runs his program will coincide perfectly with his political views lol.

"Iowa offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz, who coaches from the press box, shouted several obscenities, including a homophobic slur, after the Hawkeyes lost the ball on a video review late in the second quarter."
Yeah Brian wasn't just using "naughty language". But I'm sure you probably think the comments made by Doyle and Brian towards their African-American players were also just "naughty language".
It's fine. I hope though that you are able to at least see past a little bit of your love for the Hawkkks (just kidding) and admit that maybe Brian is actually a d***.
