At least Ivory Kelly-Martin admitted that a lot of the guys felt like they had to walk on eggshells and watch their backs. There goes his playing time!

I'm glad they asked the real important questions here.. you know like the one when we all cared whether pineapple does or does not belong on pizza? My lord
Heck, they even could have asked what was the over/under on the number of men's basketball free pizza nights this next season...

6 by the way...

Having been a sports journalist myself (laid off a couple years ago), I usually give the press members the benefit of the doubt and will usually defend them, but this is a joke.

"Some of your coaches were called out on Twitter..."

Man up and name who you're referencing to when asking your question. Or are you too chicken **** to mention that you're talking about the coach's son when asking the head coach about his staff's actions?

Kicker cuts back in to make sure to get his line in about "this being the most connected team he's been on". Was going to be in the dog house if he left that spoon fed line out

"When you heard something you weren't able to say something because you would get attacked."

Holy ****

"When you heard something you weren't able to say something because you would get attacked."

Holy ****
Anyone with a brain would follow-up that answer by asking "who would attack you if you said something?"

Am I the only one shocked right now? Kirk literally doubled down on the program.

I'm not.

Shamelessness works sometimes. If he starts admitting things or apologizing to things, those things all point right back at him. Its why doyle won't be fired, much less anything with Brian. If he does anything other than double down, eventually the conclusion ends up being that he has to go.

With a compliant local media, doubling down has a chance of working.

Certainly. I think using DJK's entire statement to prove someone guilty is the right thing to do, but at the same time, I don't think throwing all of it out the window is fair either. I also believe that because there are 40+ allegations in this entire situation, it's a little bit harder to make a case that there was not negligence made by certain people.
Agreed, but it's easier to claim you're the victim when others are doing it. Wadley and DJK are likely using Ferentz as a scapegoat for their shortcomings. There is a difference between being a victim and having a victim mentality. And there are far more people in this world with the mentality than people care to admit.

Good thing Kirk had the Twitter ban in place to "protect his players" while his strength and conditioning coach was going around hurling demeaning comments at his players, stepping on their fingers, etc.
