Iowa Football Recruiting

So the kid with offers from Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, and Baylor (and Iowa State, FWIW) sucks, while Iowa State’s slow and small Sun Belt commit for 2021 has a 97 potential and compares favorably to Brock Purdy? You’re quite the evaluator.
Hogan's accuracy, especially on deep balls, is going to keep him on the bench.

Imagine being giddy over the issues that have come up in Iowa City and thinking that your school is immune to such things.
How am I being giddy for thinking that the cultural structure of the Iowa football program is a disgrace? I also haven't heard any allegations regarding our program and it's culture, have you?

They're a lot more immune than iowa is. The ISU staff is pretty far from "old school" or set in their ways. That's what happens when you keep a coach that long. They are resistant to change.

I'm not giddy over the issues, but I do find it funny the people coming out of the woodwork to defend them.

Who is giddy over student athletes becoming victims of racism? I think it's a horrible situation and believe those at fault deserved to be brought to justice

I think you are pretty spot on with your comments. Changes need to happen. I can't speak to what others are saying. I don't defend that culture existing. I also think making mistakes or being wrong doesn't make them bad people. If there is refusal to change then I'd look at it differently. Times change and we all need to adapt.

It's not just the racial disparities that were happening. There was a lot more than that happened and has been happening within that program.

I think it's pretty obvious there are bad people in the football facilities in Iowa City

Being racist has never been acceptable in Ferentz's tenure so not sure what that means
