Anyone listening to this interview between CW, Ross and the Hawkeyenation site manager? What a schmuck this Schmelka guy is. Took down the DJK article that Howe wrote, basically because it said bad things about their king and dictator, Coach Ferentz. That guy is totally in Kirk's back pocket. Said it's all about "relationships" between the coaching staff and his website...basically that their relationship with Ferentz is more important than anything journalistic that paints Kirk in a bad light.

Hey he said hes not in the business of having made up rumors on his website... which I assume means the HN message boards will be taken down here shortly...

Can you please take a second to critically think? Morrow claimed that he complained to Ferentz about Doyle saying he would send him back to the ghetto. Morrow himself now admits that never happened. You guys were roasting Ferentz for saying that he doesn’t recall Doyle ever using that language before, calling him a liar and saying that he was being coached up by his lawyers to use the “I can’t recall” phrase. But now we know that he can’t recall Doyle using that phraseology because Morrow never told him about it. I’m not condoning the language that Doyle has used on different occasions, but there are important distinctions in some of these stories that you guys are completely ignoring, and that is one of them.

If we take a second to think about this, 5 more stories come out.

I haven’t dug up info to discredit anybody. Of all the players that have come forward, the only ones that I take issue with are

(1) Terrence Harris claiming (a) Ferentz spit at him for listening to rap music, and (b) Ferentz made him log roll for no reason until he vomited blood

(2) Morrow claiming he went to KF because Doyle said he would send him back to the ghetto (We now know this wasn’t true)

(3) DJK, because (a) I know there are multiple lies in his story, and (b) he has a history of lying about this stuff, and multiple teammates have called him out for it in the past.

Why don't you believe Harris?

It’s a fan site bro. The only fact that matters is the fact DJK wrote these things down and made them public. That should be news. chemlka is basically stifling news. Politicians say **** all of the time that isn’t true and it gets printed every day.

We went through all of this this morning. The dozens other accusations that have come out have now brought to light the fact that maybe DJK was not in fact making all of that stuff up.. The fact of the matter is that DJK is now a football coach and has everything to lose AGAIN by lying about his experiences there. You should look at this situation through the lens of today and not through the lens of 2013.

I wonder if @ChrisMWilliams worked for HN, if he would have ran that DJK story without first trying to find a source or two to confirm its accurate and reaching out to the university for comment prior to publishing the article.
