I haven’t seen any stories attributing a pattern of similar actions or comments to Brian, only a handful of players saying that Brian was a problem.

Bill fennely might run into a problem if former players start speaking up like they did a few years ago. However, he has had a chance to change so hopefully for him he has done enough in the last few years to show he has changed

Above all else, I do hope this results in change because the U of I actually cares and wants to be better not just for PR. I dont have all the answers but its obvious society needs to not only be better at listening but to actually followup with action not just talk.

Player. I posted earlier Latoja has been with Bill since she basically left the house after high school. That would be a gigantic deal if she has been with him for decade after decade after decade if he was like that.

Sorry that I dont think vandalism is okay especually to someone who died for this country even though the country obviously was and is still battling systemic issues. Kinnick still laid it on the line. I think racism is horrible and my heart goes out to those players for what they endured but I personally don't think vandalism is okay.

Back to the thread, Iowa better do more than just put a coach on paid leave if they actually care about this issue.

The message gets lost the more the "movement" allows this to happen under their leadership and coordination - speaking more nationally but think it applies here.

Holding up a picture of a bunch of mostly white kids spray painting buildings in the spring in a college town is hardly support for BLM or the other offshoots of the current situation.

I am not a supporter of these violent efforts (peaceful protest all you want, run for office, become cops to change from within, etc.), but they would do well - like ANYONE leading a large project - to laser focus their attention on ensuring their message is as unadulterated as possible. I can't treat anyone looting as a serious protestor.
