Yep. I looked Coleman-Lands' stats after cytwins called him a HOMERUN get. I needed to know what all the hype was about.....I was probably not nearly impressed as cytwins, but that was to be expected.

ESPN has Coleman-Lands as its 37th best graduate transfer. They seem pretty effusive in their praise:

This is pretty dumb, even for you. McCaffery is good at other things besides shooting. Coleman-Lands isn’t, but also can’t shoot. How valuable is a volume scorer than can’t shoot?
By the way, weren’t Iowa State fans salivating over Monte Morris’ assist to turnover ratio in college? Weird how that stat doesn’t matter anymore now that Connor is leading the NCAA by a wide margin.

I mean, he doesnt even hide it.
Why? Iowa already has a lot of really good shooters....and Connor is like Iowa's 5th scoring option going into next year. Connor knows his role and is really good at what he does - setting-up the really good shooters / scorers. Much better than dealing with guys that can't accept their roles and think they are better than they really are. Take for example team C (from last year)......the stats say certain players on the team are not good shooters + those players still think they are good shooters + those players decide to keep taking a high volume of bad shots + the coach somehow can't stop those players from taking bad shots = historically bad 20 loss season.
Hopefully Prohm can get them under control this year. SAVE PROHM!!!!
