that is what nearly all hawk fans say it is so that is why he parroted it.
I get why Twins clings to this losers mentality, but why do you? Do you actually think that trying to parse the quality between Iowa and ISU schedule means anything? You have 2 metrics that say ISU SOS was tougher, you have 3 metrics that say Iowa's SOS was tougher. Obviously the SOS was very similar. Quit acting like Twins and trolling that somehow ISU faces some gauntlet of a schedule that Iowa didn't.
There it is, CyTwins picks and chooses what Sagarin can and can’t be used for. I wonder if he keeps a cheat sheet so he can keep all his mental gymnastics straight.
Link to anyone who says that the season record for Iowa that year was 12-0? As a Hawk fan, I’m very proud of that season. Got beat by two good teams, one that could of gone either way and one that was admittedly forgettable, but still the Rose Bowl
Lol I honestly couldn’t care less about SOS. Honestly I was just bored waiting in an exceedingly long line at Dutch Brothers this morning and thought I would come here and kick the beehive a little.
The question none of them are willing to answer is why does having the #5 SOS matter if Sagarin says isu would still be 7-6 with Iowa’s schedule and Iowa would still be 10-3 with isu’s schedule?
That’s because when Iowa plays a team good enough to make the playoffs, Iowa beats them and knocks them out.
