We had some injuries early in the season and had to play our more traditional 4-3 and not use the Cash position like we wanted because the guys were not developed yet.
I have neither the time nor inclination to put together a list, but start with any verbal who has not yet visited campus.
Iowa had depth, but unproven depth. This next year Iowa has a lot of DBs with starting / playing experience coming back. Moss, Hankins, Koerner, Brents, Merriweather, Benton all saw time. as did some others. Harris and Castro will be RSF. Then there is Bracy, Deasfernandes, Lawson in the incoming class. Dallas Craddieth is still here. So there is depth there this year as compared to last year and a lot of that depth has experience.

I think all of the current commits have visited campus at least once. The only that hadn't was Olakudun and he already decommitted.
Cooper DeJean must've got a big boost as well. Not sure what they had him as before but 247 has him at 93 now. Had a feeling he was going to get a bump as well.
Man, as much as this sucks for an Iowa fan to lose DJ I can't imagine being one of your coaches preparing now for next year. Lots of midnight oil being burnt this summer in Ames. You have a good staff so I think they come up with something, but losing DJ definitely has to hurt.
To go from not even getting HM in the Big Ten (which is almost hard not to get if you play) to leaving early would be quite the jump
