Iowa Football Recruiting

Lol you don’t have 1 recruit that’s even rated as high as our average.

Also curious to who these guys are?
TJ Bollers is the only one I care to comment on right now. But there are others we have a good shot at. Pretty confident this is going to be a very solid class.

I don't get how ISU fans can't see how this is a rough class so far for them? Last year CMC's first 13 commits included:

Bowman (Iowa offer)
Miller (Nebraska and lots of offers)
McDonald (Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue, Wisconsin)
Pauls (Iowa, KState, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ok state)
Dekkers (K State, Purdue)
Rengert (Rutgers, Pitt, Virginia, WVU)
Wilson (Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri)
Hutchinson (Nebraska, Illinois, Oklahoma)

That is what a real recruiting class looks like, and that class still finished #46. This years CMC class looks nothing close to this. Sure there is time yet, but CMC better close with a fury on the last 10 guys or so (not sure how big of class ISU will take).

Iowa State beat out Iowa for Bouman, Wilson and McDonald?

Composite average is .8401. That would get them the 8th best class in the AAC.

Things are looking bad for this class.
I’m sure you were on here 8 usernames ago talking about how Montgomery, Rose, Kolar, Newell, Hummel, Vance, Shaw, etc were part of these terrible classes but it’s all just wishful thinking.

Wanna bet? To pull your composite average up to 88 from 84 with even 7 recruits would require a average rating of 95 for for those 7 guys. If you think ISU can pull their composite average up 4 points with "a couple recruits" I gotta wonder what math they are teaching in Ames.
Do I want to bet on what 18 year old kids may or may not do? Um no. That's weird. I have 0 concerns about this class. CMC is in great shape with recruiting.

Ok then let’s how just compare the players each coach developed in the same time frame then. KF has still outperformed CMC with the players he developed in his first four years as compared to Campbell.
Ah so you mean the players KF got from his first recruiting classes compared to Campbells? Surely that would be fair right?

They walked into complete opposites as far as programs go. KF was at a big time football school and was stepping into Hayden Frye's shoes, while Coach Campbell was taking over a joke of a football program. Right now you can't make any comparison between the two longevity wise. Compare head to head all you want because there's actual substance there. Kirk has beat Matt every single time.

Iowa's 2015 season is a great example of this and I loved every minute of it. Well maybe not the last two games.
Iowa had a solid team with an average schedule and they beat the teams who were in front of them. I'm not taking anything away from Baylor, Minnesota, or that 2015 Iowa team. They won their games, including some against some good opponents.

Legend said Iowa wanted him

I made a mistake, but it is good you are using me as a source now. About time, like I told you Hanson is not a take, Brock wasn't a take either, and we didn't want him on defense either.

Glad we could clear those two up.

My bad, 7 out of 13. Right now how many of the 13 even have 1 other P5 offer, let alone decent offers?
Do you stay up all night stalking ISU recruits while snuggling with your chubby Brian Ferentz doll? I bet you even have the same dbag haircut as him. ISU is living rent free in both your heads that's for sure!

Joined May 7th, new Twins alt here?

This is not true. Come on man. If we decide we don't want him, you guys will be all over him. Do better.

Army- Mizzou, Pitt, WVU, Minnesota
Bonifas- Louisville
Brown- KU
Wright- NC State
Biglow- WSU, Pitt, Duke, Virginia
Freyler- K-State, Michigan St, Nebraska, Wisconsin
Silas- TCU, Virginia

7/13.

Alright, now let’s see those goalposts move again.

Hanson hasn't been a take since Llewellyn committed. As I said weeks and weeks ago, after they got Llwewllyn that the two left on Iowa's board were Pittman and Benny. We got Pittman, (I wish we had gotten Benny instead), but getting Pittman on board and being finished at DT now as well is good too. Then Twins got all butthurt that I said we were done recruiting Hanson, but looks like I was right and Twins was lying (as always) about "sources".

I also told you guys that Iowa was only recruiting Bruce, Brecht, Johnson and Bell at WR. Twins got all butthurt again and said we wanted Noel badly even though we hadn't even been in contact with him for weeks. Then we land Bruce, then Brecht, then Johnson and are waiting on Bell's decision, and yet again Twins was lying about "sources".
My info is coming from HI. They stated they were going to put a CB for Iowa until they learned that ISU is likely the favorite. This is from a few days ago, not several weeks ago.
