Makale Foreman Grad Transfer

His numbers don’t look like a PG. More of a SG.

I agree with you and the person that noted above that Bolton, foreman, and JCL are all in the same mold. I would welcome the pickups of either JCL or foreman but am not overly wowed by either and don’t think either move the needle a ton unless Steve as an ace in the wings that will be the primary ball handler most of the game. I don’t see any of those three as such.

Not every PG is gonna have Monte, or Haliburton numbers. Most of today's PG's are scorers rather than facilitators. I know it's an extreme example but Steph Curry only averaged 3 assists while scoring 25 ppg in College but I would still consider him a PG.

Hopefully Foreman's offer isn't committable.... or it's a walk on offer IMO.

If it were February right now.... nobody on here would be interested in Foreman. Only because it's mid May and we've struck out on nearly everyone else is anyone even trying to put a positive spin on this.

Lol he would have been a take back when we had four open scholarships.

Bottom line is we need players. This dude can shoot the 3 at a high clip and has shown he can put the ball in the basket. He is a good option at this stage in recruiting. Just because Iowa State struck out on a bunch of guys does not mean they stop recruiting guys. He is a capable starter and we need that now.

I don't understand this sentiment at all. We have 3 scholarships available. We're not going to fill all of those. He's a 1 year player. So even if he never sees the floor, he's not preventing Prohm from continuing to recruit. It isn't like he's a flyer as a HS player that we'd be stuck with for years.

You're just full of terrible takes lately

I get your point but that probably isn’t the greatest example to use as a comparison. Foreman isn’t going to come in and light it up scoring wise as well curry is surrounded by ball handlers who all can bring the ball up the court and distribute very well. We likely won’t have that next year (Bolton could, we haven’t seen Johnson, I wouldn’t trust anyone else at this point and I don’t see that in JCL either).
