Iowa Football Recruiting

If Iowa lands Heflin, that would be a pretty salty trio between him, Nixon, and Gholston. One of the better trios in the Big Ten probably, and the best in the state for sure.

If you're still starting Waggoner your DL will not be a strength IMO

Woof! sounds like you guys could really use some help at that position.

Has the ship of Enyi being the best end in the state sailed? @Brandon
Enyi is really good DL no matter what position he plays, but he is more equipped to stuff the run. I think DT suits him better than DE ever did.

Lee has played very well in the limited PT he's gotta. Lima and Johnson were just so good.

Bankston... If you thought we were excited for Demond Tucker... He's going to make Petras his B****

How many years in a row have you guys won Offseason National Championships now?

One HM All Conference guy in Gholston on the whole DL. Terrifying! Lol

Tough to make an all-conference team in the Big Ten. It isn’t like the Big XII, where there are 20 guys on each side of the ball on each team. Hell, George Karlaftis didn’t even make 3rd team all-conference by the coaches and he had 17 TFL and 7.5 sacks as a freshman.

It’s so weird how every year they have more talent than Iowa, yet end up losing to Iowa, having a worse season than Iowa, and sending fewer of their more talented players to the NFL than Iowa.

You’re right, he was 2nd team all conference.

So much fail here

There were 28 All Conference defensive players last year in the Big 12 which is more than usual

There were 34 All Conference defensive players last year in the Big 10 by coaches and 33 All Conference defensive players last year by the media

So 28 spots for 10 teams compared to 33 spots for 14 teams? Thanks for proving my point.
