Iowa Football Recruiting

Here is what I know. According to isu fans on this site, 247 is the only credible recruiting service in the history of recruiting. It appears to me that they evaluate high school players on both a national basis and by position. Now I am just spitballing here but my guess is that they do this so you or anyone for that matter can compare players and recruiting classes in totality. I could be wrong and I am sure clone fans will tell me I am but right now Iowa has higher ranked players and a higher ranked class than isu. Personally I don’t really care but it sure does drive clone fans batty. I mean 38,000 posts over the last four plus years. That level of devotion is truly admirable.

Here is what else I know., I know that for the most part players can play college football a max of 4 full seasons and one with 4 games. Now if clone fans want to claim they have better players than Iowa without the full results of their college careers, hey knock yourself out. Assert to the world you have achieved a total and complete victory over me if you like. You know something that really puts me in my place. A true “gotcha moment”.

The reality is that I come here to see just how far isu fans will go in order to feel better about how they compare to Iowa. So far you all have yet to disappoint. We will see what tomorrow brings.

Kudos to you clone fans, kudos indeed.
Yea, no believes this. You come here, to your rivals FAN PAGE, because you're a loser. That's why

There is a way to test your theory, shut down the current Iowa threads and see if Iowa fans start any new ones. If they do I will wholeheartedly agree with your pathetic loser tag. The question is can clone fans show self restraint and not start new threads to poke the bear or is it just too engrained in your psyche?

Unlike the only moderator on HawkeyeNation posts this on his site:

Talk about a pathetic loser!! Rob producing "content"? No wonder he has to to everthing by himself, like you, no one can stand him.

"Please do not push it. Moderating these message boards by myself is not easy. I'm not going to spend time babysitting people and take away time I can spend producing content."

We don’t have that power and you know that. That’s a mods thing. This entire thread was started by an Iowa fan. So doesn’t that already prove the point?

Wow. Doyle and Ferentz wrecked him
I think it had more to do with the fact that there were some high expectations that Stanley was going to end up progressing into an absolute stud. The #1 thing was accuracy and that didn't really get any better.

When they don’t work on your mechanics, your accuracy won’t improve.

That was on the coaches IMO. He lost weight and improved his accuracy after leaving Iowa he said

Hoping Iowa gets involved with NIU grad transfer Jack Heflin. 6’4”, 320 pound DT that was 2nd team all-conference last year and has 16.5 TFL the last two seasons. Looks like there will be quite a bit of competition for his services.

Iowa needs help at that position IMO. Outside of Nixon I don't think they will have anyone good at DT this year

Yeah I read that too.. Makes sense that he'd improve and lose some weight after switching to a different program and working with different coaches. The interesting thing that I read was that he never truly worked with a QB coach before. Does Iowa not have one?

Would be a great one. #9 DT in the country last year according to PFF.

So have isu’s coaches worked on mechanics with isu’s offensive lineman or did they just not progress? I see none of them were drafted and isu’s line in 2019 wasn’t any better than the year before.

They have some young guys with potential, but hard to ask them to play major roles without any prior experience. I think Heflin would be a good fit for both parties, I just don’t know if Iowa has any open scholarships.
