I'm not knocking Mahomes. He's awesome and seems like an awesome kid too. Lamar was in the zone and had an incredible season. Can't go wrong with either one. Guarantee you Lamar will be missing our guy Yanda next season tho.
Hold on, so now the best QB is the one who has the best record? Which is it, do the wins count most for a QB or his stats?
Is Dan Marino > Joe Montana? It is the age old debate with QB's what means more, eye popping stats at the time or wins/championships

Big Ten had 10, 10, 5, 5, 5, 4.
So pretty comparable if you take away the two overwhelming leaders. Good to know.

Combo of Nebraska fans being dumb and they'll bet it and Vegas isn't very high on Iowa. Hard to try and replace 4 draft picks and then have your once a decade matchup with Ohio State in the same season
Look at the schedule. @OSU and @ PSU . Unbalanced schedule. I think when there are two divisions in a conference the winner should be determined first by your record just within the division. Break a 2 team tie with head to head. Next tie breaker would be overall.
Yeah this doesn't have much to do with the scheduling between Nebraska and Iowa imo. More to do with the uncertainty of how Iowa will be with a new QB / best players missing, and the fact that the national media is in love with Nebraska from their final game of the year until around September 1st.
keep piling on Stanley. Kid won 27 games and never lost to Minnesota, Nebraska, or ISU. Won 3 bowl games and kept his nose clean and mouth shut while doing it. He was a good QB and an even better person by all accounts. Continuing to go after him only shows how much the #superbowl losses got under your skin.
I mean absolutely lol. Stanley did not jump off the page at all, but he was not terrible. I mean, c'mon the dude got drafted. He was a guy that was very consistent at Iowa. He took pretty good care of the ball, and Brian Ferentz did a good job of putting him into positions where Nate did not have to sit back and read the defense very often. The Oregon State guy could definitely be worse, but he could also be better too. We're just going to have to wait and see what type of player he is.
I've seen some Iowa fans say they honestly don't think Purdy is any good. What Matthias did was generalize the entire fanbase though. And I highly doubt Twins is Matthias but who knows lol.
