Iowa Football Recruiting

Petras was an early enrollee and redshirted lol

It is tough beating out a 7th round draft pick. Has any QB in ISU's history beaten out a 7th round draft pick to take the job from him? CJ ousted a 6th rd. draft pick, but that is what a 3rd round draft pick can do.

Seems like you wanna get to the NFL all you need to do is be the Iowa starting QB.

Stanley was a mediocre college QB and that's probably pretty generous

Honest question. Is it easier to get HM All Conference Big Ten QB or HM All Conference Big 12 TE?

Definitely HM Big XII as a TE. LaPorta would have been at least HM in the Big XII and he barely played the first half of the season.

Real Mitchell would have been HM All Big Ten

What a terrible troll. At least try one that makes a little sense. LaPorta would have been 4th in the Big XII in receiving yards amongst TEs and had more receiving yards than one of the 2nd team Big XII tight ends. LaPorta would have without question been at least HM.

4th in the Big 12 but there's only two teams. We don't do 3 teams like the Big Ten

There were two tight ends on the Big XII 2nd team. That’s three tight ends on the two all-conference teams. LaPorta would be first in line for HM honors.

You said he barely played the first half of the season. Must have been good at it! Lol

Literally on the last page you just rated the below statement as a “Winner.” How apropos.

Not true at all lol. You can be more talented as a freshmen than the people above you, but if you don’t know the plays/playbook cause you’re new, how can they play you. Don’t be dumb.”

In the last few days you've told me:

1. He is a good blocker and was exclusively a blocking TE the first half of the season

2. He barely played the first half of the season

3. He only played 6 games

What is happening here?

That pretty much sums up all your usernames on here. You are the same guy that started a thread about not trolling anymore. I guess you have a whole lot a karma heading your way. Enjoy it. You are really funny on here so much so your posts are just dumb.

Big10 QB's are really good, Purdy isn't even Honorable mention all Big10.

QBR:

Justin Fields 92.1
Tanner Morgan 84.2
Jack Coan 82
Payton Ramsey 80.2
Sean Clifford 76.8
Shea Patterson 71.3
Brock Purdy 71.2

Kind of like why Purdy couldn't beat out Kempt at all (only by injury) and Zed Nolan until midseason. Sometimes it take Fr. awhile to get the offense down.
