Iowa Football Recruiting

We were talking about recruiting. Iowa’s WR class this year appears to be quite a bit better than Iowa State’s is likely to be, although things can obviously change.

Iowa State has definitely recruited the position better in recent years. In a couple years when those recruits gain more experience and Smith-Marsette and Smith graduate, Iowa State will probably have a better group of receivers than Iowa. They definitely don’t this year.

ISM was a fast kid against really slow Big 10 West defenses. He might see the field at ISU as a 4th or 5th option, or maybe a kick returner.
Did any isu WR have more TD’s than ISM? Then you can tell how he would be the 4th or goth option.

A class of Bruce, Brecht, Bell, and Johnson is quite a bit better than Michaud, Noel, and Morris IMO.

Yeah!! Buddy!! you made it a month without getting banned. Looks like your daily posting avg has gone down a bit. Around 7 posts per weekday for this month. Mom limiting your computer time or what?

Did any ISU receiver play against the pathetic Big 10 schedule? No? Then you can go away with this bs.

wow if this is true than Hall is even better than Goodson than I thought! He had a bad offensive line, and Iowa had a great offensive line yet Hall was able to accomplish SO much more! Wow!

Glad you can feel good about yourself. Will Purdy be able to stay healthy behind another bad isu OL?

Is it?

Bruce’s WR offers aren’t impressive (neither are Michauds). When Michaud gets more film, he’ll bring in offers... maybe Bruce will too?

Noel & Morris seem at the least on par with offers as Johnson & Bell.

Brecht is a big win for Iowa. He should be a good player.

Bruce wasn't a WR for ISU. I don't know much about Bell, but he's listed an athlete, not a WR. Not saying he isn't a true WR, but I'm curious as to why that would be.

isu was bad on the OL last year. In fantasy land isu’s replacements will not only be better than who they started last year they will be better than who Iowa returns.

This is why Hawk fans come here. To see just how far clone fans will go with their delusions.

How could you tell ISU’s OL was worse that Iowa’s OL? None of the linemen for either team scored any touchdowns

Wait you think Iowa will have better WRs this upcoming year?

Hot take but I think Brecht will be better than Martin

I don’t know how Bruce doesn’t have more offers. He has put up monster numbers against decent competition and has crazy quick feet/agility. Must be a combination of his size and uncertainty about what position he will play in college?

@Brodie0 I'm curious your thoughts on our 2020 WR class. I mean our worst WR in that class has better offers than your best will have in 2021. That's why you're not making sense

Yeah. I have to imagine it’s positional uncertainty.
