Iowa Football Recruiting

Does it make you feel better that Wisconsin can beat Iowa with Stanley but isu can’t?

It does, but the all time best win for the Clone is the epic Stanford Cyclone win over Iowa in the Rose Bowl. They love that win and reference that win like no other win in their history.

Stanly made a good play there, the Wisconsin defense made a better play. You don't see Iowa fans crying about the refs, as I'm sure we could find a "holding or non holding call" and cry about how it cost us the game.

They cried when Garza didn’t get POY! Your trolling attempts are getting bad these days. You need to social distance yourself from CF.

Talk about apples and watermelon. So the Hawks are blaming the refs that Garza didn't win the POY?

Ronnie Harmon fumbles four times against Washington in the Rose Bowl sure ranks up there, just like the Stanford shellacking. Iowa City was flooding with tears after those embarrassments.

Ronnie wasn’t bought off either, sure.

Thanks for confirming everything I said.

Hawks fans spin things like this so yes they would. They said Toppin had so many dunks as a reason. Hawk fans blame the refs on every lose. Even the players did!

Honestly what was more impressive. Purdy stepping up to win vs UNI or Stanley "stepping up" to beat Nebraska?

That was an impressive play actually by Purdy, he did come up clutch that time vs a FCS team. If he could make clutch plays with his arm, it would be nice for ISU though being he is a QB. Stanley's vs Nebraska was still much more impressive as a QB being clutch though.

Was Nebraska better than UNI? Honest question

Interaction between recruit and CMC:

Recruit: “Coach what win gets your fans really excited”?

CMC: “Son we have this fan web site called Cyclone Fanatic. Since I have been here the game our fans post the most videos about is the 2016 Rose Bowl where Stanford beat Iowa. Go check it out”.

Recruit: (long ackward pause). “Ok coach thanks. I will let you know if I have any other questions.”

CMC: “You bet and Go Cardinal I mean Go Cyclones”.

According the the Twins gospel of Sagarin, Nebraska #49, UNI #104. Heck your bible says that Northwestern is > UNI.

Me, I'd question one single source, but you, why would you even ask me this question? Sagarin says it is so, far be it for you to question him now.

I honestly thought UNI would be in the 70s or so. Thanks for the info

Crazy ISU had to go into OT to beat a team way worse than Northwestern at home. I've been told on this site that Northwestern was a joke last year, and UNI was way worse. YIKES!
