Kirk is going to be charged with murder the way he's killing Campbell on the recruiting trail.
Most of those types will have much shorter careers. NFL LBS and Linemen are big and fast and bring the pain.
So CMC doesn't tell kids the truth or did they just treat him like an unwanted step child?
They explained to him the situation exactly as I described it. They wouldn’t actively recruit him but would accept his commitment.
What does career length have to do with what direction the NFL offenses look to be heading?
I know MC absolutely hates putting out a commitment to ISU for the long-term and resorts to saying stuff like "my actions speak louder than words", but the interest from other schools/NFL on an annual basis is absolutely killing the guy on the recruiting trail. I know its being used against him. I was also reading when FSU had interest in him that they worried that he himself is not the salesman you need at the top for a recruiter and he relies on his staff too much versus him being on the trail and being that closer. This was all twitter/message board chatter, but it was something FSU fans worried about.
Not quite true, but doesn’t change my opinion of you one way or the other. You went from at times entertaining to no more than a liar.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him commit to us out of contempt for you guys. He really seems to hate Iowa.
100% what I’ve been saying. Great post. Skipping his basketball game is really going to cost us down the line.
Honestly I wonder if this recruiting cycle will make him look a little harder the next time a bigger program comes calling. It has to be pretty demoralizing getting kicked around like this by your in-state rival and might make him question whether he can really accomplish what he wants to accomplish at Iowa State.
