Iowa Football Recruiting

Iowa, Iowa, and then figured it was a toss up but gave the slight edge to ISU since it was at home. And if you'd like, I'll go full blown twins here and say "and it would have been a win if not for that phantom holding call"

This coming year will be a big one in terms of the draft and judging Campbell’s ability to put players in the NFL. His first recruiting class will be redshirt seniors. He’s already put a few players he recruited in the league

How many have been drafted and not signed as an UFA while at ISU?

I agree that this coming year should hopefully be a turning point. Allen and Kolar should have a good shot if they increase production.

How many what? How many of CMC players have been drafted?

Yea, if following the replies it would be how many players has CMC had drafted while at ISU?

How many ISU players have been drafted and not signed as an UFA while CMC has been at ISU? How many of CMC's plays have been put in the league via undrafted free agent while at ISU?

You mean like he did just one time that entire game? Lol

You're acting like he threw 3 interceptions or something.

Right, Koerner decided to bat the ball down instead of take the INT when BP's pass hit him in the numbers. Technically, not a turnover.

Well it could've mattered if he'd thrown it to his own guy instead of ours.
I mean you're simplifying the situation because Purdy was under duress, it was 4th down, and he had to at least put the ball up into the air for someone to have a chance. Either way, your 70/30 comment was just an exaggeration that's all lol. Was there a slim chance Purdy might've turned it over? Sure. Was it almost a 1 in 3 chance that happens? No, especially considering we would've had the ball in good field position to basically get better field position to put us into a field goal scenario.

Either way, it doesn't matter. The flag was thrown for the "holding" and our special teams f*** up instilled the fact that we didn't deserve to win the game anyway.

I can't believe you just posted that

Taking Sargent was so dumb. I still don't know why they did that

It’s been explained but you’re willfully ignorant. They needed another running back in 2018. Without him they would have lost a number of games. Obviously Brock, Goodson, and Hill weren’t available in 2018

What is with isu class having only nc state, Louisville, and kansas as a total of power 5 offers.... combined?

I guess I wouldn't have expected you to join the ranks of those who predictably default to blaming the refs for the loss.

Why didn't they take a good one then instead of one going to UNI?

You didn’t ask that before. The answer is probably because they had him rated higher. Maybe the kid at UNI didn’t want to go to Iowa. Point is, they had no choice in taking another RB before 2018. They needed another. They had the running back end his career with injuries and another leave. I know, failure to evaluate and all that.

I’m sure the program would have loved to get Brock and Hill, but apparently only had room for Goodson.

The one doing to UNI was Sargent

Why didn't Iowa take a good one instead of UNI bound Sargent is the rephrased version

Hall was a freshman All American. Show him some respect and stop calling him Hill

And lets not forget the pass that drew the PI on DJ Johnson late - that should have been intercepted, but I don’t think Johnson realized the ball was going to take that long to get there. He had enough time to grab a newspaper and coffee and still get there in time to pick that pass off.
