Iowa Football Recruiting

That is one interesting story. It does happen once in a while at other schools. Just a year or two ago, I read about a kid committing to a school that never offered.
He's literally giving the Iowa staff a couple days to decide whether or not to offer. I'm not convenienced he wouldn't flip even they offer after committing.

7.7 wins over 21 years including the 1st 2 seasons of data when he went 4-19.

8.3 after the first two years which is really pretty strong as it's an average and would indicate several 10+ win seasons.
Do you th8nk ferentz will be in the coaching hof?

1. It's early
2. CMC is getting the guys he really wants and I trust his eye for talent and what he needs/wants for his program.
3. CMC is a significantly better coach than KF and will produce better teams.
Campbell is a good coach. No argument from me. In 20 years we'll see what type of legacy he has built as ISU....or somewhere else.

If he got to play in the Big 10 West he would already have some top 15 finishes. What a joke.
do better. Clones would've been the 4th best team in the BIG 10 west last season at best. Hawks would've been 2nd or 3rd in the BIG 12.

Again, if we got to play the competition you play every year, we would have more success. The Big 10 is consistently the most over hyped conference out there. The West is embarrassing. And yet you have won it once? Ouch.
swing and a miss

Ok I get confused because when hoks talk about all of his top-10 finishes and coach of the year awards the response is most of that is ancient history and isn't relevant today.
Given Iowa States football history I would love to consistently be 8-4. Hawk fans get crapped on because the majority think and act like their team is a perennial 10 win team that finishes top 10-15 every year. Which you aren't

You literally just proved my point lmao. I said Iowa is on average a 7-5 to 8-4 team. The stats prove it. Thanks. Please come again.

The West finished with more top 15 teams than the entire Big 12. What a joke conference.
For the first time ever. I don't know why hawk fans are on an IOWA STATE FAN PAGE trying to puff their chests and act like the Big 10 West has been this beast of a conference the whole time when everyone knows its been an absolute joke and a cupcake. Was the west tough last year? Yes. But i imagine it will fall back to crap just like Iowa's basketball program
