25 mil for a starting QB is perfectly reasonable. They're not giving him elite QB money, which is good because he isn't anymore. Still an upgrade over Brissett.
I would say take a QB in the first round and redshirt him. But you gave your first away.

No, not a bad payday at all, but if he works out there, that saves a lot of cap space for them to use elsewhere.
And Cam. Really interested where either ends up. I keep thinking the Bears bring somebody in to compete for the starter spot, but as this plays out I think tit's more likely they roll with Trubisky.
Be pretty funny if someone traded for Trubisky and developed him into a good QB.
