Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

I dont know about that.

Bohannon isnt a good defender and never will be. He could be average though. I think his hip(s) were hindering him quite a bit the last year plus. If he can come back 100% next year, he will be fine.
His hips certainly hurt his ability to move defensively, but I'm not sure if he'll ever be even an average defender. He's not quick enough nor physical enough to be a menace like Toussaint is, and his height puts him into a very tough spot as well. Now, Iowa usually plays zone when there's an obvious mismatch on him, so his defensive liability is rarely ever enough for him to have to come off the floor.

What he does bring to the table is a very good shooting ability. He shoots a good percentage and his range is great. He may not be able to do much else consistently on offense, but a guy like that is extremely nice to have on the floor. He's someone that the defense actively has to think about at all times.

Jordan is weak defensively, but lets be honest, Fran isn't exactly a defensive coach. Iowa plays zone 2/3-3/4 of the time with or without Jordan, so it isn't like they need him to be some lock down guy.

On the flip side what Jordan does to open up an offense is invaluable to a team. He can stretch a defense to 23-24 ft. out on the floor. If Iowa had him instead of Toussaint out there where they can just sag on Joe, it would open Garza up even more.

FG% 3P% FT% APG TOPG
Connor 32.6% 31.2% 78.9% 3.8 0.9
Jackson 32.2% 31.7% 70% 1.2 1.2
Nixon 34.2% 23.3% 69.2% 2.1 1.0

Connor and Tre shoot similarly from the floor and 3. Connor is the better free throw shooter, ball handler and passer. Nixon is clearly a distant 3rd.

The level of sheer amount of conclusions being jumped to that are presented as fact on this post are truly incredible. I am not even mad, just impressed.
