The Fran fade

Who else could Fran get? I think he was out of options and thus rewarded a hard working player with a one year schollie. It wouldn't have mattered a whole lot if Nunge wouldn't have torn his ACL and Pemsl wasn't an idiot.

Pemsl sucks. Most coaches could have found someone better but Fran can't recruit

While that's true, we still will never know what they could've done with CJ out there. They're losing statistically their best 3 point shooter and that's been Iowa's game all year long outside of giving it to Garza.

CJ has really been struggling down the stretch though

Was he though? In his last 5 games he was averaging 12.2 ppg and shooting 44% from the 3.. I guess the Nebraska game he wasn't very good. He was 2-9 with 6 points but I'd credit that as just having an off night more than anything.

Garza back for sure. He has no shot at being drafted.

Wieskamp feels 50/50. If he finishes the season well he can be a mid second rounder. If he comes back he'll be too old for what he is to ever get drafted imo.

Feels 50/50?

He wanted to bail last year.

He was huge in the Illinois game.

He was shooting like 53% from 3 on the season going into 2020 and he's at 46% now

Did Till even play high school ball? He looked god awful last night. He got burned really bad on a couple back door plays. He looked so lost out there. I think the only person who took the strength and conditioning program seriously this year was Garza. He may look like a horse, but he also works like one.

We may never know if Iowa was going to fade down the stretch with CJ. If they fade down the stretch without him though, it's not going to hold as much weight now.
I don't see how they don't fade now, with the numbers being what they are. JW and Garza are going to have to play 38 min/game. That doesn't usually end well. Would they have faded anyway? We will never know. Idiots can feel free to argue about it.

How I'd imagine Schuster or Steyer would look if they got exposed out there for too long. Booth is a real baller though, I wouldn't mess with him.

I didn't care much about losing to Iowa by double digits when we were winning the Big 12 Tournament and making the NCAA tournament, but when we lose AND suck the rest of the year there's really no silver lining lol.
I care. IMO, 18-19 was an anomaly. If we lose to Iowa by double-digs, it's because we suck and were out-coached.
And we should never-ever lose to them by double-digs in Hilton. We should never have a losing record against: McFran; his kids; or JorBo,
