He actually has really good offers. The best offer for the 2 commits that ISU has for 2021 is Louisville.
We are at 86 right now. That could dip to 85 depending on the Michael Lois situation.
I dont think anyone got run off.
Toren Young, Epenesa, Stone and Wirfs all moved on to play professionally.
Jeff Jenkins gave up football and is no longer enrolled at Iowa.
Ezra Miller had to give up football due to injuries but it still in school.
One of the verbals ended up not qualifying and he is headed to JUCO.
Thats right, I was forgetting about the WR from Canada.
I was only counting the 2 reaches on the OL.
Yup, which is why I am surprised Campbell would take the verbal from Sauser and Bonifas.
Bonifas had a P5 offer. That is as good or better than 11 of Iowa’s 2020 class. And please don’t cite ratings a year before signing day.

Lock down a couple of local OL recruits they had highly evaluated, now they can take their time on other OL (out of state, etc.).
What Campbell probably has to do to start making the Iowa connections again. Offer a little earlier. Lock a few more down, worst case scenario, in-state guys who don't work out usually red-shirt first year anyhow, and graduate and leave early so you don't have the scholly tied up as long. If they do work, great.
When schools like Alabama are among the highest offers in the country I think that gets debunked pretty quickly, so no.
What folks don't understand about the ISU offers is why and how they do it. They are offering kids early and often. ISU recognizes the talent and makes the offer before the big guys step in. If you are first, that can mean something to recruits. What was the first school Justin Fields committed to? Iowa State. Too many big dogs came in and swept him away but early recognition is a good thing. You can make those offers if you feel like Georgia or someone like that is going to come after your recruits.
