Yeah I'm not sure I trust San Diego State at all and might pick them to get upset in the second round. I'll have to watch them more to get a better look at them, but because of their competition, it'll be hard to truly evaluate them.I'm just going to guess the simplest outcome. Win at home lose on the road 4-5 with a decent shot to pull one out at either Purdue or Minnesota to go 5-4. Probably 7-8 seed in the end. 8 seed in the San Diego St bracket would be ideal. Was a decent game the 1st time. hawks would at least have a shot.
Confirmed that twins is actually Rob Howe
I'll go with
Purdue - L
Nebraska - W
Indiana - W
Minnesota - L
Ohio State - W
Michigan State - L
Penn State - L
Purdue - L
Illinois - L
I agree. I watched SDSU play the hawks but my memory isn't great. Seems like the Hawks jumped on them early but they controlled the 2nd half and the Hawks looked gassed. I don't think they're true 1 seed material but with the way things are this season I think they get a 1 if they win out.Yeah I'm not sure I trust San Diego State at all and might pick them to get upset in the second round. I'm intrigued by this year's NCAA tourney because there are so many good teams and not many great ones. Seeding is going to be quite interesting because there are going to be a lot of good teams with higher seeds than usual.
So you got them going to the Tournament?
Yep once they got that whistle at home vs Wisconsin I penciled them in the tourney
Yet you have Iowa getting swept by Purdue..I will say I won't be surprised if Iowa has a good week and the fade doesn't hit until Indiana or Minnesota. Nebraska is a free win and Purdue is not the Purdue of old. I know the game is at Purdue but Illinois just blew them out there and even Texas won there
Oh they would have to. I mean they'd be undefeated lol. But yeah I did watch that game and although I thought SDSU was good, I don't think they were 1 seed material. Now, they could be playing better basketball than before even if they are playing worse competition.I agree. I watched SDSU play the hawks but my memory isn't great. Iowa shot 17 FT's to Illinois 11. I don't think the referees were biased towards one team or the other, rather they did struggle overall in some areas. Iowa won because they played better down the stretch and if Illinois would've won, it wouldn't have been because of the officials.Illinois got the whistle (or lack thereof) yesterday and Iowa still won.

I've heard from numerous Iowa State and Iowa fans that the first 2 years of Prohm don't count because they were "Hoiberg players".This might be the year that Mad Fran won't fade. But there's a long month left of the season.
But I'd like to point out that it took him 10 YEARS to get to this point. 10 ******* years. Half this board wants Prohm gone and he's still had better success than Fran.
Playing at Purdue will be harder for Iowa than when Purdue comes to Iowa City. Purdue's crowd usually gets up for big games and although Purdue has struggled at times this year, they have the capability of coming out and beating solid teams.I think they're more likely to lose to Purdue at home at the of the season than at Purdue in early February
I know
