Pretty much at the "keep throwing **** at the wall and hoping something sticks stage". Iowa will fail at some point and he will bask in the glory! LOLour program is fading; in worse condition than than anytime in the Prohm past. and you predicted we wouldn't lose to Iowa in Hilton!
Listen, I agree with you but was playing devil's advocate. Iowa was better than Ohio State, even though they got the doors blown off by them earlier in the year. My point was more that using one game out of the year to determine the overall success of that year, or even when comparing two teams, isn't necessarily valid. With all of that being said, the argument you made earlier in which you brought up multiple other variables holds a lot more truth and I wouldn't want to argue with it.Not at all. OSU was 20-15 (8-10). Iowa was 23-12 (9-9). OSU got killed by #3 seed Houston in the 2nd round. Iowa was 1 pt in regulation from the sweet 16 and knocking off #2 seed Tennessee.
To be truthful, when things like Florida A & M happen, I do find SOME humor in it and in good nature dish out some crap about it knowing full well the shoe will be on the other foot someday. That being said, I don't sit around day after day hoping or wanting the Cyclones to fail.I get the feeling this thread isn't going how he planned...

Who was better in 2012-13? Iowa or Iowa State? Not at all. OSU was 20-15 (8-10). Iowa was 23-12 (9-9). OSU got killed by #3 seed Houston in the 2nd round. Iowa was 1 pt in regulation from the sweet 16 and knocking off #2 seed Tennessee.

Iowa had a good year last year and the fact that they were close to a Sweet 16 makes the argument for them being better than Iowa State greater. Had the roles been flipped, I think there is probably less of an argument.
Who was better in 2012-13? Iowa or Iowa State?
I do love that as our basketball team tanks this board is becoming increasingly intolerant of Twins nonsense. Give up the act man. Channel this energy into something positive.
I honestly picture you waking up, putting on a pot of coffee, cracking your knuckles, and sitting down for an 8 hour Iowa troll fest. It's clinically obsessive.
Something I do wonder is how he holds a job down. I get having down time at your desk, but good grief at some point you would think there is work to be done. It’s every day and every hour of the day. Same goes for a few of the Hawk posters here too though.Starting to believe Twins is an Iowa fan from HN that’s trolling ISU fans.
Just for fun. Curious what you would say.Iowa was in the NIT that year, and I'm assuming ISU was in the NCAA Tournament as Fred always made the NCAA tournament. So I'd say ISU. Why the blast from the past?
Same thought has crossed my mind. If true, he does deserve some credit.
Its almost to the point where I side with the Iowa trolls over Twins
Completely agree. Iowa beat us head to head, Iowa State probably had more quality wins and ended up rattling off 3 straight quality wins to win the Big 12 tournament and bump up their seed / rating. However Iowa then goes and plays better in the tournament. It's an argument that really means nothing and is impossible to say without the two of them playing at the end of the year.Iowa and ISU basically had the same year last year in overall record and conference record. So in that case, I'd say the NCAA is the tie breaker, as to who had a better year, and I don't think that is really even debatable. You notice I'm not claiming they were "better", as that is much murkier, as there are way too many ways to define "better".
