Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

Why would Connor shoot 4 threes?

I agree. Way too many forced three pointers early in the shot clock by just about everyone last night. They played awful last night I thought and Wisconsin bailed them out by trying to run clock the last 7 minutes.

Wisconsin bailed them out is not the narrative of who bailed them out on the radio this morning lol

Game almost got out of control at the end there with Davidson's antics. Hard to tell what Fredrick is saying here but I wouldnt be shocked if him and Garza had some words for the Badger players.

That last one is pretty sad. I’ve seen a lot of players get after each other and do the mini hug thing and just shut up after a win. Seems their coach is leading them poorly in the character department.

I noticed this in the Rutgers game too. Iowa players really like to chirp at the other team. There is certainly a difference between talking trash and being cocky douche bags. It does reflect poorly on the character of the coach. Hoiberg may have let Georges, Monte, and Naz have a few words for the other team, but it was more in fun and competitive spirit than it was a bullying tactic like it comes across from Iowa.

If you watched those guys in the handshake line, you would have seen them give bro hugs or even laughing during conversations during dead time. Not telling them to ef off in line. That is a character situation. Leave it on the floor. Fran has shown that he can’t and now his players are also.

Your take from all of this is that mean Iowa players were bullying those nice kids from Wisconsin? Good grief.

I'm sorry but this is a historically bad take.

Imagine as an Iowa State fan criticizing how someone else wins games. They talk trash, Garza fades late, Wisconsin choked, etc. Who the hell cares? They win-- something we can't seem to figure out how to do.

I'm not criticizing. I'm honestly jealous. We haven't gotten a whistle like that in my lifetime. We could really use it this year!

Lol, this is weak sauce.

So scoring two points from the 7 minutes mark until there were two seconds left isn't bailing Iowa out? Wisconsin went into a shell the last 7 minutes with awful possessions. They have no one to blame but themselves.
