*** Official IOWA STATE vs #23 Texas Tech Game(Day) Thread ***

I give up on this team, soon they'll give up on their coach. 12 wins is the new bar for the year, but they might give up before they can reach that

Bolton is a bright spot moving forward and he and Conditt will need to become the alphas.

Hali gotta go...projected top 5 is serious coin
Hali is not top 5 good, but if he's getting that information, then yes, he does need to go

Still time for ISU to hit 45. I'm looking to hit on that prediction.

I assume you must be joking. I cannot believe anybody agreed with this. We do not have the talent to be a tourney team.
I dunno, having a lottery pick guy in his second year is a good start. His talents just don't work with bad offensive players i guess.

No coach has ever made a player a good shooter. It's like the tools on here that credit Fred for making Naz a good shooter.
Being a great shooter takes about 1 hour of coaching and 1,000 hours in the gym.
Then clearly our players are not practicing 1000 hours in the gym since they can’t hit a three. and weren’t Nixon and Bolton decent three point shooters at their previous schools?

I'm not sure if there is a way to determine if officiating is bad per se. But, inconsistency can be PROVEN. All you have to do is show the same thing happening on either end with regularity with inconsistent results. Does anyone do this kind of analysis? Maybe the conference or officials' organization to notice tendencies. Side with higher ranked teams, home teams, certain styles of play, etc?

That’s laughable at this point.
You can't play a much worse game than that without intentionally throwing, really. Everything on offense has gone wrong. It's a shame because the defense today was actually good, they hung around in this for a long time against a solid team, in spite of awful shooting.
