I'm not sure why you are thumping your chest that your 2nd best player is better at scoring than one of our role players is (who's job isn't to score.). Bolton is also better than Kriener, Pemsl, and Joe T. Congrats I guess. Bolton is not better than Garza, Weiskamp, or CJ though, he would be a nice rotational piece for Iowa though.

I don't think he would actually. The only two players I would take from ISU are Halliburton and Conditt. Bolton would want to be ball dominant and take too many tough shots that he isn't capable of making on a consistent basis.
Exhibit A @Legend Hawk

He's a more efficient player overall, a better shooter and doubling his ppg. I'd say that's much better on the season

Nobody has ever called Fran "the right coach" for anything other than big slow white guys. He can usually get them close to the bubble which is impressive for a total lunatic I guess.Actually, I would take Lewis too. With the right coaching, he could be a pretty good player.
Define more efficient.

You make a good point. With Halliburton, we wouldn't need any more guard depth, so there is no need for Bolton at all. Go with Halliburton, CJ, Connor, Weiskamp, and Garza. Let Joe T, Conditt, and Kriener back them up.
Higher player efficiency rating
How much less? You said better Iowa coach. Alford didn't go to any sweet 16's with Iowa. I could care less what happens in the conference tournament games.
So the most efficient guards between the two teams would be in order:
Haliburton
Fredrick
Wieskamp
Toussaint
Bolton
McCaffery
Bohannon
Nixon
Grill
Jackson
Evelyn
Garza
Conditt
Kriener
Young
Jacobson
Pemsl
