Seemed like good hires? What does that even mean? A hire is only good if they work out. Hoiberg seemed like a horrible, terrible, and desperate hire actually. So should that be viewed as a good hire or a terrible hire?
Wisconsin wants someone with a track record of beating the Hawks in football. They won't touch Pollard.
Yeah I don't think going to the Outback Bowl and having a child hold the same weight lol.. Going to the Outback Bowl is not some life changing experience. I have had numerous friends go. They say it's a fun time but you're completely blowing this out of proportion.
Yeah we're on a hiatus but trends say Iowa State will be fine against Iowa. Iowa has won the last 5 but from '98-'02, Iowa State won 5 in a row as well. After that streak we had, and before Iowa's current streak, the series went back and forth with one another. I see that happening again in the years to come.

When did I ever call it "life changing"? You are the one blowing this out of proportion. The Big10 best bowl ties ins are all New Years day. If you don't make the NY6 Bowls, the next best are Citrus or Outback bowls, and after that is meh. It is pretty simple, and for some reason you got a bug up your butt because I said that when you go to 17 bowls over 19 years, you pick and choose the ones you go to, and the ones you are naturally are going to choose are the better years and New Years Day bowls.

My recent experience is typical for me. I am flying it Tampa in March. It was $150 cheaper to fly out of ORD than Cedar Rapids. The difference in parking is about $75ish. That means I’m driving an extra three hours for $75. No thanks.
So Rivals has an article out comparing the HS rankings of the starters of USC vs Iowa. Of the 22 starters for USC, seven are 5*, twelve are 4*, and three are 3*. Average Offense player star ranking of 4.09, average defensive star ranking of 4.27
Iowa is still favored in the game by Vegas right now.
Yup. On paper USC should have a great team, but in reality they're just good. The constant coaching rumors that have hovered around the program for the last few years have definitely hurt this program.
Yep, they've killed the recruiting up until this past class. They will be a very dangerous team. They have a chance to blow Iowa out of the water. I'm hoping Iowa's defense can at least slow them down and keep the game in the 20s, but not sure they can.
If Iowa keeps the game close, it'll be a battle to the end. If USC takes control of the game, I don't think Iowa will have the fire power to stay in the game.
