Call me crazy, but click into less than 50% of all new threads... I click in more than 50% of all surly threads. While he may be infamous, the handle @surly is the only handle of a stranger that I easily remember outside of staff members. Far better more interesting than any of the hawk posters as I can't even name a single one of their handles.
