If Iowa State got to play a much easier schedule it's more likely they win more games. If Iowa had to play a much more difficult schedule it's more likely they lose more games. 8 to 37 is a huge gap. Sagarin has Oregon 8th and Michigan State 37th in their rankings if you want to visualize how big of a difference it is

ISU's schedule wasn't tougher, you played less top 20 teams, less top 25 teams, and you played less bowl eligible teams.

So you think the top end counts more than the bottom end? I'm glad you agree with the obvious that Iowa's schedule was much tougher than ISU's.

Awesome for you guys on winning the recruiting class battle! It is good to know that you finally understand how much harder Iowa's schedule was. Big10 West is a meat grinder. 40+% of the leagues is ranked in the top 20 of the CFPP. Crazy Iowa won 9 games vs such a hard schedule!
