With the rumblings out there that Iowa is spending their bowl prep time watching film on Iowa State and Purdy I'll ask the question to Hawkeye fans. Would you rather win your Super Bowl next year or win your bowl game this year?
More concerned about UNI for the mythical state title. The clearly would have beat the clones this year too if not for a dumb coaching decision.

With all the rumblings out there of CyTwins posting non-stop about random Iowa crap during bowl season I’ll ask the question to CF posters. Would @CyTwins rather post about the bowl game this year or his Super Bowl next year?

I don’t really blame the Hawks for picking our game in 2020. Bowl games are really just exhibitions. That being said, if the shoe was on the other foot, I take a win Notre Dame over a win over Iowa in 2020. More notreiety and let’s be real, we’re an October team that needs to turn into a Oct/Nov team, not a Sept/Oct team.

A win over Notre Dame this year does nothing really for ISU. I mean 7 or 8 wins what is the big deal? Beating Iowa next year means ISU would have a real shot of being 6-0 with OU coming into Ames. That could potentially be the biggest game ISU has ever played in. Outside the OU game, ISU once again has it's easy conference slate, could be a special year in Ames.

The next game on their schedule is the most important.

If this is IOWA’s Super Bowl, we win a whole hell of a lot of Super Bowls.

And your infatuation with Purdy is weird. If I weren’t from IOWA, I can’t say that I could name the quarterback for ISU. He is a very good, scrappy player, but this mythical belief that teams live in fear of him (And use their bowl prep to practice for him - LOL) is all between your ears.

The fact you say the only reason you know one of the best QB's in the country is because he plays for your rival speaks to your football knowledge

I'm going to guess that 80% of the people that voted are Iowa State fans.

The fact that you refer to a game played by two state schools in Iowa that has been lopsided as a “Super Bowl” says everything I need to know about your football knowledge.

Here is a football fact for you... There are two college quarterbacks who played HS football in the Phoenix metro. One is tied for 16th and the other is tied for 19th in the country in passing TD’s. One is a freshman, one a sophomore. One went 8-4 this year, one went 7-5.

The younger one with more passing TD’s and a better record is Kedon Slovis, quarterback for USC. The other is Brock Purdy. Who did you hear IOWA is prepping for and who is your source?

I know who Slovis is and they're not our rival. You only know Brock Purdy (one of the best QB's in the country) because he's your rival. That explains so much
