Season Tickets

First meet = Utah State, November 13th
I was told (at least I thought I was told), it'd be mailed 2 weeks prior to the first meet. I'd expect them to be mailed by the end of next week and getting them late next week or early the following week.
I can't believe it's time for a new wrestling season already! Hopefully we won't have to have meets "curtained off" again.... that's probably wishful thinking though.
Oh, I know. It just irks me a little bit that we can't sell that anymore though. :sad:
Well, at the rate that FB and MBB are going, it wouldn't take a lot for wrestling to reclaim the #1 spot for men's sports at ISU.
The best attendance days (9K-14K) were at a time when Duncan and Criner were around, and Johnny hadn't turned hoops around yet. As basketball got better, wrestling attendance went down.
Now, it seems that anything above 4,000 is considered a huge crowd. Ugh.

Aren't we still in the top 5ish for wrestling attendance? I thought we were number 2 with Iowa at 1 a couple of years ago. However, the distance between the numbers was around 4-6K people I thought... (ISU: 4-5K and Iowa: 8-10K). I could be wrong though.

I don't mind it being curtained off. It doesn't feel as much like a sparse crowd.
Also, I think that if we didn't host Iowa last year, our attendance is more like averaging 3300 or 3400. It will be interesting to see what it's like this year.

Wrestling is one of those things where if I lived in Ames I would definitely go to meets. But 1.5-2 hour drive is just too much for me. Football saturdays are just easier. I think I should just move to Ames or "Mecca" as I call it.
That's cool.
The main reason why I get season tickets is because it's so feasable. There are only a handful of meets and it's pretty spread out.
Now, sometimes I wish there were more meets, but between basketball season tickets and wrestling tickets, I go to PLENTY of events in Hilton.
My wife likes sports enough to go to all of these, but anymore than that, and I'd probably be pushing it a little
