maybe yeah but trust me... the fans will be way more upset about this than the coaches are and they’re the ones that actually invested time and money into this.
ISU will be active on the mid year transfer market and in all likelihood will land a player better than Xavier, albeit a shorter cyclone career than he would’ve had.
All joking aside I'm sorry guys. The puppet masters in his recruitment played us. There was extreme confidence with him for months. Not the first time it's happened to ISU and won't be the last

Our staff was played, but he's going to play for Fran. He's really the loser in all this.
Because of the nature of recruiting, the staff has to be a good sport about it, but this did harm recruiting other options I assume.
As, as far as I could see, people were always conning each other to get what they wanted. We even con ourselves. We talk ourselves into things. We sell ourselves things we maybe don't even need or want by dressing them up. We leave out the risk.
We leave out the ugly truth.
Pay attention to that because we’re all conning ourselves in one way or another just to get through life.
