Why do you say that? Given how tough it is to win at a place like Iowa, he’s doing a good job imo. Iowa could do a lot worse, and they have, with a National Coach of the Year. Iowa was such a tough job for him, it destroyed his career.

This sounds all good and such in theory, but let's be honest with ourselves here. I guarantee you some moron still would even after multiple tweets and posts are saying not to tweet at recruits. EVERYONE needs to respect his decision, and when he does he'll be 1,000% committed to some in state school.

Agreed. He’s either going to make the right decision, or the wrong decision. If he makes the wrong decision, don’t tell him that. He WILL figure that out on the first day, if he makes the wrong decision, while Fran throws his clipboard at him for something minor.

OSU fired (he technically “retired”) Thad Matta basesd on a recruiting class. It’s 2 years later and they are rated and already have a resume win this season. Maybe it’s not such a bad idea. Somebody should let that guy know.
